One Year Check Up and Easter

Emily Kay had her one year check up last week. As far as her developing and growing she got a great report. She's met her milestones and is completely off the bottle and on whole milk and table food. Yea! She's walking more and more each day. She's just figured out to stand up without pulling up on anything. She jabbers more each day and her favorite word is uh-oh as she throws her juice cup. :)

Her stats:

17 lbs 14 oz - 15th percentile
27.5 inches - 50th percentile (she's average what?!)

So I said she did great with growing and meeting milestones, but while at the visit we found out that both ears were infected and she still has a little wheezing in her lungs. So we left with an antibiotic, a steroid, and instructions to get back on breathing treatments. She's been so happy and playful so I had no idea her ears were hurting, felt like a bad mama!

Emily Kay had a great 1st Easter, because Easter was so early last year this was her first one, even though she's already one. The bunny did come visit and she really enjoyed her goodies!




I did not get one picture of her in her Easter dress. We were running late to church that morning and then she was asleep after church and then woke up hungry, so I plan to stage it sometime soon.
