I have not posted in a while. We have been out of town for a full week. On Saturday, July 12th, Matthew and I left Emily Kay overnight for the first time. I was very sad, but we left for a very good reason. We went to Natchez for Betsy's wedding. It was so pretty and fun. We really enjoyed seeing Bullwinkel and Lindsey. Then Sunday, July 13th, Emily Kay and I left for Seaside. Matthew met us on Tuesday. We had a wonderful time playing on the beach and being with our families. Thanks to our parents for the great vacation!
While we were gone Emily Kay had a great time and now has many new tricks. She can hold her head up really well, put her paci in her mouth, reach for a toy, and push up on her arms. She also had her first bowl of rice cereal. I think she really likes family vacations!
I know everyone wants to see pictures, so I will try to post as soon as I can. We do not have cable or internet at our house so I will post pictures as soon as our internet is ready. (I am posting from my parent's house right now. This is the only picture I could get to upload.)

Long Post!!
We moved into our house on July 4th. We are so excited to be getting settled. I want to give a huge thanks to my family, Matthew's family, Jana, Wade, and Mary Francis. They helped us get moved in and we really appreciate their hard work.
Emily Kay was not very cooperative on moving day. The pic below pretty much sums up out she felt about it. She did not want anyone but me to hold her.
After we got all of the big things (couches, beds, kitchen organized) settled we went to the Braves game with Dan, Amy, and Will, and Amy's parents, and Natalie. We had a great time. It was not too hot and we were able to stay for the whole game. Emily Kay slept off and on, but she was wide awake for the fireworks. She was AMAZED. I wish I had picture of her face.
Saturday we did a little more unpacking and then went to Amy's parents house for dinner and a little swimming.
Sunday morning Emily Kay was baptized at Madison UMC. It was very sweet and I must say that she looked so pretty in her dress. Emily Kay had a lot of special people come to watch her baptism. It meant so much to have everyone there with us. After the church service we had a brunch at Matthew's parents house.
My camera died so I only have a few pics of the baptism. My mom took tons, so I will get them from her soon.
We had a very busy, but wonderful holiday weekend!

Emily Kay is Three Months Old!
I can not believe it - Emily Kay is already 3 months old. On her 3 month day we've been cleaning, cleaning, and cleaning at our new house. We will be moving tomorrow. Emily Kay has been a trooper. She was so happy all day and let me get so much done. I did get one picture of her today, but she's sleeping. She's pooped from such a busy day. At three months old, she can hold her head up pretty well, smile, laugh, coo, and blow bubbles. It's amazing how excited I get over these milestones. I'm sure all moms know how I feel. I am so thankful that she is growing and is healthy, but I sure wish it didn't go by so fast.
We had a fun playdate yesterday and I took lots of pics and then realized that I had left the memory card in the computer. :(
Nicole did a great job taking pictures so check out their blog - The Haymans -.
You can see some good pictures of Emily Kay.
I'll post pictures of our house soon! Have a great 4th of July.

Busy, Busy, Busy!
( Whoa! Mom, we need to slow down! It's been crazy around here.)
We've been so busy and I'm sorry that I don't have very many pictures to post.
Last Thursday, Aunt Kelly came to visit (I'm so disappointed that I did not get a single picture of Emily Kay with her - I've been terrible about taking pictures lately). It was so much fun to see her. She and I got pedicures on Friday morning, then went shopping with Carrie, Emily Kay, and Grandma Sharon. Friday afternoon Matthew and I closed on our house. YEA!!
Saturday we woke up and went straight to our new house. We needed to make a plan for moving in! We decided to paint before moving any furniture. We picked out paint colors and then it was time to head to Starkville. We were going to Betsey's (a teacher from Edgewood) wedding. Her wedding/reception was beautiful and another plus was visiting Amy and Dan and Kelly. They baby sat Emily Kay while we went to the wedding. It was so much fun watching Will interact with Emily Kay. He is such a fun, cute little boy and I am so glad that I've been able to watch him grow. I hope that he and Emily Kay will be friends for a long time.
Sunday morning we drove back home and went straight to work on our house. It needed a really good cleaning! Thanks to my mom, Sigrid, Kristin, and Matthew's parents for all of their help. We really appreciate your hard work.
Now as soon as the painting is finished we will begin moving in! Anyone interested in helping out - ya know that you have this Friday off. :)
