On Good Friday, we had an Easter playdate. We had fun dyeing eggs, hunting eggs, and making cookies.
The babies had fun playing in the balls.

Emily Kay's Third Birthday Party
We had a "Jessie" party (Toy Story) for Emily Kay to celebrate her 3rd birthday. It was at the MS Agriculture Museum. She had a great time! The kids were able to ride ponies, go through the barnyard to look at animals, and ride a carousel.
The tables and cupcakes.

Thank you to all those who came to help us celebrate our girl. A special thank you to the O'Banion family for surprising us and traveling so far. We loved having y'all at the party!
Unfortunately, my camera died early on so I don't have many photos on our computer. But Pop and Marcia saved the day and gave us plenty of prints to make up for the dead camera. You think I would have been more prepared! :)

8 Months
Cannon and Adelaide are just the sweetest babies. At 8 months old Cannon is a smiley, content baby. He cut his two bottom teeth and still won't take any kind of paci. However, he loves to take Adelaide's paci out of her mouth and chew on it. He does love his thumb! Cannon loves to eat baby food and he especially loves to eat bananas. He likes to play with any toy that rolls. Imagine that! He is talking and laughing a lot. He loves to splash in the bath tub. He has the sweetest little grin that just melts my heart.
Adelaide loves to be held and she is a mama's girl. She still prefers me to feed her and to put her to bed. She doesn't have any teeth, but she loves to eat Ritz crackers. She is a busy little girl and rolls everywhere. She likes to stand and jump in your lap. She likes to look at books and play with anything that makes music. Adelaide also loves her big sister! She loves to see what Emily Kay is doing. When I am putting Emily Kay down for her nap, I take Adelaide with me to read a book and she smiles so big and kicks her little legs.
We love these little babies so much and can not imagine life without them!

Emily Kay is Three
Emily Kay -
At three years old you love to sing and dance, watch Disney princess movies, play with your friends, go to Tiny Tones, eat junk food, play outside, dress up, read books (especially Fancy Nancy), play monsters with Daddy, ask questions, play hide and seek, put puzzles together, go to school, play Memory, play the piano at Lolla's house, take care of your baby dolls ( I love that you always play with two babies), to make birthday presents for everyone and have pretend birthday parties.
You are really beginning to have detailed pretend play and I love to listen to you. You are so smart and have an incredible memory. You talk about places and people that you haven't visited or seen in a year. I am amazed at your vocabulary and how you are no longer a baby at all.
You are fearless and I hope and pray that we can steer that fearlessness in a direction that will help and not harm you.
You are strong willed and know what you want. I love that about you even though it can be challenging.
You have such a sweet heart and I love how you love your baby brother and sister. You are so proud when you can make them laugh and smile.
You say the funniest things and I keep meaning to write them down, because I forget. Every morning when you get out of bed you come running in the room singing, "Good morning, good morning, I so excited to see you!" I know you learned it at school and I think it is precious. Whenever someone comes to our house you say "Somebody's here to see me!" You love to tell Macy and Lola to stop barking. You will tell Cannon and Adelaide to "hush that cryning".
We love you! I am having so much watching you learn and grow.
