Much Better!

Emily Kay has felt much better this week. She's been so much fun and very playful, yea!

I took Emily Kay back to the doctor last Friday and she was diagnosed with 2 ear infections. Our dr. said that the RSV was getting better but she could still hear some wheezing in her lungs. They gave her a shot and an antibiotic. The shot seemed to help immediately and each day she has progressed!

Her newest favorite toy is her purple ball. She can be screaming and crying and if you ask where her ball is she stops crying instantly. It's pretty funny.

Happy Valentine's Day

We are spending today at home with a sick little baby. On Wednesday night Matthew and I took Emily Kay to the after hours clinic. She had a really high fever and was having trouble breathing. She was diagnosed with RSV and given breathing treatments and a steroid. We've been trying to keep her comfortable, but her fever is staying around 101 even though we've been alternating Tylenol and Motrin every three hours. Anyway, her breathing is much better and she is coughing less. Here are some pictures of her opening her first Valentine. You can tell she doesn't feel too great.

Here is my sweet little baby doing a great job with her breathing treatment. She seems to know that it will make her feel better because she is doing better each time with the treatment. So sad, but we are so thankful that her case of RSV is not severe enough to need hospitalization.

10 Months - Double Digits!

Yesterday was Emily Kay's 10 month day. She's growing and learning everyday. Her newest trick is walking behind a push toy. She's very proud of herself and will stop to clap. I need to get it on video, but that's hard to do. These are pictures from yesterday. She stayed in her pj's most of the day and had fun being home with me.

Where's Emily Kay?

Peekaboo!

These are for Aunt Kelly. She gave Emily Kay this outfit for Christmas. It's her 1st tutu!
