Happy Valentine's Day

We are spending today at home with a sick little baby. On Wednesday night Matthew and I took Emily Kay to the after hours clinic. She had a really high fever and was having trouble breathing. She was diagnosed with RSV and given breathing treatments and a steroid. We've been trying to keep her comfortable, but her fever is staying around 101 even though we've been alternating Tylenol and Motrin every three hours. Anyway, her breathing is much better and she is coughing less. Here are some pictures of her opening her first Valentine. You can tell she doesn't feel too great.

Here is my sweet little baby doing a great job with her breathing treatment. She seems to know that it will make her feel better because she is doing better each time with the treatment. So sad, but we are so thankful that her case of RSV is not severe enough to need hospitalization.

Poor thing! Hang in there! The breathing treatments do work (even though they are no fun!). Thank goodness ya'll have been able to avoid the hospital too! Amanda
