Christmas Parties

Emily Kay had fun at her school party.
She also had fun at gingerbread house parties. One at out house with Will, Andrew, Jude, and Tyler.
And one at Madison's house with our playgroup. Mandi was brave! There were 15 kids!
Cannon and Adelaide had fun running around.

December Fun

Emily Kay had fun helping us decorate our tree after Cannon and Adelaide went to bed. We were so shocked that they didn't play with it more than they did. We did put a baby gate all around the bottom, but they could still reach it.
We went to Canton to look at the lights. Cannon and Adelaide were especially impressed by the singing Christmas tree.

Jude and Emily Kay had fun riding on the cars.
Sweet friends.

Emily Kay sang at church. She did a great job. We were so proud of her.

Thanksgiving

Emily Kay's preschool did a little Thanksgiving program for all the parents. It was precious. The 3s were pilgrims and the 4s were Indians. Emily Kay was the first child to walk in the sanctuary and I guess all the parents smiling, clapping, and waving were just too much for her. She tried very hard not to cry. She kept rubbing her eyes. I was so proud that she made it through the whole thing. By the end, she was finally able to sing along. Here she is afterwards at the reception. She's all smiles after a cupcake.

Emily Kay loves to play with her food. Here's a turkey she made with cheese, pepperoni, and pringles.
We spent Thanksgiving Day at Lolla's. We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. We ate a ton of great food. I wish I had more pictures. Emily Kay and Adelaide had on the cutest turkey outfits. Cannon and Adelaide are ready for their turkey and dressing.

Sweet Babies...wait Toddlers

I found these on our memory card. I think Tia took these pics while I was in Michigan visiting Sig. So cute! They are so big!

Cowgirl Day

This may be my favorite 3 year old picture of Emily Kay. Last month she had cowgirl/cowboy day at school and she took full advantage. She loves to pretend to be a cowgirl. Here she is yelling "yee-haw".

Halloween Night

Wade and Mary Francis invited us to their house for Halloween night. DJ, Kristin, and Joseph were also there. We had taco soup, cupcakes, and lots of candy corn! We were a little late getting started with our trick or treating and by the time Cannon, Adelaide, and Emily Kay were all dressed in their costumes, this was the best shot I got of all of them. I know you can't tell from this picture, but we had a great time.
Jude's Pop even pulled us in a trailer that he had decorated for us! It was so much fun. I think Emily Kay and Jude were more impressed by the trailer than the candy.

Jude and Emily Kay already getting into their stash.
I didn't get any pictures of her, but Adelaide was hilarious! She was very impressed by trick or treating. She would walk right up to the houses, hold her little bucket out, say "ta ta ta", and squeal when they put candy in her bucket. Then she was off to the next house. We all thought it was so funny. Cannon was completely oblivious to what was going on. He just wanted to run outside.

We had a great time! Thanks, Taylor Family!

Pumpkin Carving

We put the babies to bed and carved our pumpkin with Hayes. Emily Kay insisted that we carve Minnie Mouse. So that's what we (Matthew) did.
Emily Kay did not like the inside of the pumpkin. She wouldn't help clean it out.
Emily Kay with the finished product.
Minnie Mouse shining.

Trunk or Treat

The Thursday before Halloween we went to Trunk or Treat with the Taylors. Jude and Emily Kay had fun going to the different trunks to get candy. It was great practice for Halloween night.

We also saw the Price family there and they let us borrow this helmet to complete Cannon's costume. Cannon loved it! Thanks, Tyler for letting us borrow it! Notice the tiny arm reaching out to take it...
She tried very hard to get it, but he wouldn't let her have it.
So I took it away and you can tell that they were not happy about it..
It was a fun night and Emily Kay got way too much candy!

Fall Festival

Our church had its annual fall festival the week before Halloween. We had so much fun!

Here are our ballerina cowgirl, football player, and cheerleader.

The ballerina cowgirl loved jumping in the bounce houses.Strike a pose.
Cannon and Adelaide enjoyed taking in all the action.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch with a group of folks from our church. It was a warm Sunday afternoon and we all had a great time. Cannon and Adelaide enjoyed being outside. Emily Kay enjoyed playing with her friends. Matthew and I enjoyed our first family outing that wasn't absolutely crazy. They all behaved very well.

On the hay ride.

Fake smile from Emily Kay.She saw something she found interesting...
She found her pumpkin!

Adelaide found lots of dirt.
