Cannon and Adelaide are 5 months old!

Cannon and Adelaide were five months old January 6. They are becoming more and more attached to each other. They like to lay on the floor and look and touch each other. It has been very fun to see them really notice each other. Their personalities also started to really shine through. Cannon is a very serious baby. He loves to touch and study things. If you can get a smile out of him you feel very special. Adelaide is a wiggle worm! I'm afraid that once she can crawl I will be on my toes all the time. She is a smiley baby. Anyone can walk in the room and she's going to flash them a big ole grin. It's so cute!

Big sister had to get in on the action.

At five months old Cannon and Adelaide still eat every three hours during the day. Their last bottle is around 8:30 or 9:00 and they sleep until about 7:00.

This schedule was somewhat disrupted because they had RSV at the end of January. Emily Kay brought it home from school. Thankfully, they did not have a bad case of the virus, but they did end up with double ear infections. The ear infections seem to bother them more than the RSV. While they were sick, I found our Baby Einstein DVDs and they loved them! It was the only thing that would soothe Cannon. Here are all 3 of my sick little babies enjoying the DVD.

They can push up easily on their arms and are pros at rolling over both ways. This was the first month that they began to sleep unswaddled. Cannon loves his thumb. He refuses to take a paci of any kind. Adelaide loves to stand in our laps and really gained good control of her back.

They tried rice cereal for the first time this month and Cannon loved it and Adelaide tolerated eating it. Typical.

Here she is once I quit trying to feed her any.

Taking a really good nap. (Don't worry, I didn't leave them there unattended.)
This month they have both started to love to see what Emily Kay is up to. Adelaide will practically come out of your lap to find her. Emily Kay also discovered that they like for her to read to them and she takes her role very seriously.

Notice the hand...she's done this since she was a baby.
Just sitting in their bumbos...

We also got the ecersaucer out of the attic this month. Guess who loves it just as much as Cannon and Adelaide.

And this last picture of Adelaide reminds me of my first baby girl.
