Three Months

Cannon and Adelaide were three months on November 6, but I'm just now getting around to loading November's pictures to the computer.

Cannon slept all night for the first time on October 30th. He has continued to do this since that first night! He eats six ounces every three hours during the day and takes his last bottle at 10:00. He rolled over one time, but I think it was unintentional and he has not done it since. Cannon was baptized on November 21.

Cannon loves:

to be held
to be held by his mama is even better
to talk (he's one chatty baby)

his bottle
to be swaddled

Cannon does not love:

for a bottle to be late
to be on his tummy
diaper changes

his swing

Cannon you are such a happy baby and I love that your face lights up when you see me. You are going to keep me on my toes once you become mobile. You bring such joy to our family.




Adelaide also slept all night for the first time on October 30th. She still wakes up around 3:00 and needs to be given her paci on some nights. If we're lucky she takes around 3-4 ounces every three hours. She seems to be too busy looking around to be interested in her bottles. She takes her last bottle at 10:30. Adelaide was also baptized on November 21.

Adelaide loves:

to be on the floor where she can kick her legs
to swing
her mobile
stretching
watching Emily Kay
bath time

Adelaide does not love:

a cold or room temp bottle (it must be warm)
to be in the same position or spot too long
the sling
wet diapers

Adelaide you are such a sweet, easy going baby. If you're crying I can usually reposition you and you're immediately happy again. You bring a sweetness to our family that I can't describe.





Adelaide did not like being squeezed next to her brother. The girl enjoys her space. I think she got tired of being cramped. Cannon's expression cracks me up. It's like he's saying " What? I didn't do it"

Some days I still can't believe that I have twins. Our life is crazy, but so much fun and now I can't imagine it any other way.

This is so fun for me to see. Cannon and Adelaide are often caught in the same position.
Simon says "Raise your right hand, make a fist, and suck your paci".


Emily Kay slept in her big girl bed for the first time on November 21. She asked to sleep in it and has slept there since. I was shocked that it made me sad. There's nothing baby about her any more. No diapers, no pacifier, no baby bed.



She's also started drawing lines and shapes and telling me what or who she's drawn. This is a picture she drew of me on her magna doodle. Can you see my eyes and mouth?
