Two months til Two!

I haven't given an update on what all Emily Kay is up to in awhile and I want to remember what she is doing at 22 months.

She is full of energy like most toddlers and loves to be outside. This rainy and cold weather is starting to get old. She'll stand at the back door and sing "Rain, rain go away". She still loves our dogs and they are beginning to like her, especially Lola. Speaking of the dogs, because of the weather they've been spending more time inside and they really think they are special now.

Emily Kay loves to talk on the phone. She'll blabber on about nothing and tell the person on the other end what sound every animal makes.

She still loves Elmo, but now has discovered Abby and Cookie monster and she loves them too.

She likes to color and will tell you to "sit, mama" and give you the crayon she wants you to use. She still loves books and will finally let you read an entire book to her. She is very interested in learning shapes and colors. So far the only ones she truly knows are "circle" and "red".

The Elmo kitchen that La la and Pop gave her for Christmas is also a favorite. She'll cook all day for you or for her baby dolls.

Emily Kay is learning new words everyday and my favorite thing is watching her learn how to put phrases together.

She is still a great sleeper, I hope that never changes.

I can't believe she'll be 2 in two months!
