Christmas Eve 2009

We spent Christmas Eve day at Matthew's parents' house with his extended family. We enjoyed delicious food and candies. We had fun exchanging gifts and watching the kids play with their new toys.

We went home for a quick nap and then joined my family, the Combes, and the Pitts for Christmas Eve dinner and a Christmas movie. We usually watch A Christmas Story, but this year we watched Home Alone. I LOVE that movie! I didn't take many photos, here are the few I did take.


Before Emily Kay went home to go to bed I read her 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.


Matthew took Emily Kay home and put her to bed so Santa could visit. Mom, Sigrid, Carrie, and I went to midnight mass. It was an absolutely beautiful service. I came home and was too excited to sleep. I couldn't wait for Emily Kay to see what Santa brought.
