Catching Up = Long Post

Emily Kay is getting tubes in the morning. I know this is a routine procedure and that it is done all the time, but not on my little girl. I pray that this brings her relief and that we no longer have to worry with ear infections and antibiotics.

Happy Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's Day weekend. We went to Sunday School and then to Carlisle to have lunch with Matthew's family. Then we had dinner with my family. It was good to see everyone.

Emily Kay is 13 months old!

She is turning into a little girl and it so much fun to watch. Her personality is really starting to show and she cracks me up. These days she really enjoys spaghetti and is trying to eat with a spoon.

Last weekend we were able to go to New Orleans for Kelly and Phil's wedding weekend. We had such a great time!

We started the weekend at the rehearsal dinner. The food was delicious and Emily Kay behaved really well.

The ice in the cooler kept EK entertained much of the night.

We woke up Saturday morning and were able to enjoy beignets at Cafe du Monde. They were yummy and I think Emily Kay enjoyed hers.

Then we did some walking around. (I just love the pig tails!)



We went back to the hotel so little bit could get a nap. Then we headed to the wedding. I do not have one single picture of the bride, but, Kelly, you looked beautiful. The ceremony and reception were also gorgeous. We had a blast and I really think that Emily Kay thought it was all for her. She had a great time.
