Cannon and Adelaide - Months 18 and 19

Well, now that Cannon and Adelaide are almost 20 months I need to give a little update. They are FUNNY! Adelaide is one prissy little girl and Cannon is laid back (until 2 certain little girls take away a ball or a car). They are interacting a lot. We think they have lots of little conversations, but I guess we'll never really know for sure. They have just started randomly hugging each other. They also comfort each other if one falls down. It is really the sweetest thing. Most of the time they get along, but sometimes they've had enough of each other. They have just started pushing and shoving each other these past few weeks. I'm really hoping they don't turn to biting!

Cannon:
Weight at 18 months - 30lbs 5 oz
Height at 18 months - 35.5 inches
Cannon is saying a few words and said his first sentence - "It's a ball!" Everyone morning when we first go in to get them out of bed he is yelling "BITE" - I guess he's afraid we'll forget to feed him. He loves to play with Macy. He is still a great eater. He hasn't refused anything we've given him. He is still sleeping well at night and is taking one nap a day. He likes to play with cars and balls, but he also likes to be in the midst of his sisters. He loves to give "bay-bays" hugs. He turns Emily Kay's plastic heels into cars and runs them up and down the hallway. He is really good at puzzles and loves to try to figure out how things work.He LOVES Matthew. When Matthew gets home from work Cannon drops the rest of us. Cannon enjoys playing outside and has figured out how to climb the ladder to the playhouse. He will only slide down on his stomach going face first. He is such a sweet boy!

Adelaide:
Weight at 18 months: 22 lbs 8 oz (exactly 2 pounds heavier than EK at 18 months)
Height at 18 months: 32 inches ( 1.5 inches taller than EK at 18 months)
Adelaide is not talking too much. This is probably due to her obsession with her paci. I keep saying tomorrow we'll work on cutting back on the paci, but she is one loud, determined little girl! I've decided she'll talk when she's ready! :) Adelaide also constantly carries around an elephant lovey. In fact, we searched and searched for another one to use as a replacement. My mom found one on ebay. Well, now she just carries around 2! She is a big eater, she definitely eats more than Emily Kay and Cannon combined. However, she's started being a little picky. We're having a hard time getting her to eat any kind of meat or green vegetable. She loves to play with baby dolls and in the play kitchen. She loves to dance and listen to music. She likes to look and read books. She is a mama's girl! Ladybug, we love you and can't imagine life without you!

Emily Kay, Cannon and Adelaide are all enjoying their play-set they got for Christmas. Here are some pictures I took one morning while EK was at school.
