Cannon has the ball. Adelaide takes the ball.
Then Adelaide knocks Cannon down. Cannon smiles. Adelaide smiles.
I am here to tell you that when the roles are reversed only one baby is smiling. Adelaide can dish it out, but she can NOT take it. She cries and cries and lays on the floor when Cannon takes her toy.
At 11 months these sweet babies are growing and learning so much. They can cruise along the furniture, walk behind a push toy, and walk holding onto a hand. They are both waving bye bye at the appropriate time, playing the uh-oh game, playing peek-a-boo, and rolling a ball back and forth.
Adelaide is still a mama's girl! She loves to be near me and hates to be away from me. She is definitely experiencing some separation anxiety. She is a very dramatic little thing. She loves to climb and play with anything that she thinks belongs to Emily Kay. She also loves anything that plays music. She is so sweet and snuggly. I love being her mama.
Cannon is such a laid back, sweet little boy. He is still fascinated with anything that has wheels. He likes to play with the ball popper. He loves to play peek-a-boo and is just too cute when he hides his face with his hands. He took his FIRST steps on July 28, 2011. He walked from me to Matthew and was extremely proud of himself. He has not walked any since. He can be loud and rough. I love that he is mine!
They were both still taking 4 bottles a day at the beginning of this month. For the last two weeks, they have been drinking all of their formula from a sippy cup, except for the bedtime bottle. I have mixed emotions about this new development. I can not tell you how much I love the time and freedom this gives me,but at the same time it's a very sad thought that they are very close to saying goodbye to the bottle forever!
This year has been a whirlwind and we are all getting very excited about celebrating their first birthday with a Raggedy Ann and Andy party!
