Cannon and Adelaide - 2 months old

Cannon and Adelaide were two months old yesterday. They are such sweet babies. Matthew and I are so thankful for health babies. Right now they are getting more into a routine. I won't say they are on a schedule because they eat and sleep at different times each day. However, they do eat every three hours and are beginning to spend more and more time awake. They have such different personalities that are starting to shine through. Cannon is very much a mama's boy. He loves to be held and talked to. He still hates to have his diaper changed. We've learned if he's happy not to touch him. Adelaide is a little more laid back, until you're late with a bottle and then she turns into a feisty little thing.

At two months old Adelaide is taking between 3 and 4 ounces of formula every three hours and Cannon is taking between 5 and 6 ounces of formula every three hours. We feed them at 10:00 each night and Cannon sleeps until about 2:00. I think Adelaide would sleep longer if he did. They eat and go back to sleep around 3:00 and then eat again around 6:00. Matthew gives them this bottle and they go right back to sleep until 8:00.


Cannon's stats at his two month check up:
Weight 12lbs 9 oz - 75th percentile
Length 22.5 inches - 60th percentile He's a little chubby ;)

Adelaide's stats at her two month check up:
Weight - 10 lbs 5 oz - 50th percentile
Length - 21.75 inches - 50th percentile
The doctor said that they have both caught up to full term babies as far as their development goes. That was good to hear. They also got shots and have been running fever all day. They've been a little fussy.

They have both smiled at us a few times but I have not been able to catch it on camera. Hopefully, I will soon. Cannon has the cutest dimples and Adelaide smiles with her whole little body.
