18 Months

Emily Kay had her 18 month check up yesterday. She did great. She had to get one shot and there were no tears! She has met all of the necessary milestones and we won' t go back until she is two. She weighs 20.6 pounds and is 30 inches long/tall. She's still in the third percentile for both weight and height. I was thrilled to have her on the charts. She is saying a lot of words. My personal favorites are mama, bootball (football), pane (plane), and go dogs.

I am really loving this stage in her life. We're are getting to watch her transform from a baby into a little girl. I will say that her thinking she should always have her way is not fun - think huge tantrums. For now they are few and far between.

Sorry, Kelly, I don't have many new photos of Miss EK. Funny Story - Thought I'd lost my camera. I had it at church last Wednesday and I thought I'd left it there. Looked everywhere and asked everyone on Sunday. No luck, so I just thought it was gone for good. Yesterday, I was cleaning in our closet and it seems that a certain little girl had found my camera and put it in a pair of boots.
